PMFever, in his post at 10:27 this morning, wrote “And, you know that Rambus had even higher targets at that time since he was copying all of my charts.”
I don’t know if this is true or not; I was quite shocked to read it and was wondering if anyone could somehow prove or disprove it. Rambus never seemed to me like the type of person who would copy someone else’s charts, especially not all of them!

Well, I have a long investment horizon for energy stocks, so I’m holding.
As far as Rare Earths go……I’m taking a pass on that one.
On balance my Dines subscription has paid for itself many times over, plus its a good read, a style I like.
We shall see

I think Dines did his subs a large disservice having them hold their Uranium stocks through that bear market. Unfortunately for anyone still holding the history of the Uranium stock market is clear. Once the bull turns over it takes a long time for another bull market to emerge. Nothing new for Dines though. While he is early on new trends developing he is notorious for holding way too long. Internet same thing.

as an x-nuke (i.e. retired); i don’t think there is a shortage of u-oxide. i also followed it for a while; bear in mind that it takes 5 to 10 years to put a unit on-line; although some are being built now, i have not heard from the grapevine that there is any problem with fuel. i would go with PMF and some of the nickle flippers here…….. trade / cash flow/ or put it away and forget about it for 10 years

I’m happy that some sectors of your family portfolio are performing, as am I, thrilled with my PM related investments.
Sadly though, I’ve been sitting on my hands and looking for signs of life in my uranium holdings.
Mega Uranium in Dines’ own words has been a “huge disappointment” though apparently as I join him in holding on…… with “an iron hand on the tiller”. Today, I watched Mega hit a new 52 week low at 54 cents.
In tonights TDL he states:
“We all have to wait patiently for uranium to have its day again. We ourselves are using High States to resist Impatience”
Best of luck to us both ….. in PM and uranium related investments.

A friend of mine works at an industrial facility, a large semi enclosed structure. Anyway, they used to have these floor cleaning machines to clean large expanses of flooring. These machines used a ton of chemicals to get the floors clean.
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=TNC&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p62040846209&a=198613641
The company above has developed a technology that cleans the floors better with simple water. They charge the water with electricity ( I guess make the water +) and the dirt evidentally is negatively charged - so the dirt “sticks” to the positively charged water.
Anyway, cleaner floor - no chemmies, kills H1N1 virus too! Think Hospital floors.
I wouldn’t buy yet, looks like we’ve started a correction after Monday’s key reversal day. If it gets close to closing the gap from a week or so ago it MAY be a decent speculation. Of course, if the general equity market craters in the next few weeks - all bets on this will have to wait

I dont know who thinks Rambus copies others work but he stands by his own charts. Chartists can talk among each other usually in a objective manner as a means of communicating but to say copy probabll come more from people who dont understand charts or k on them they just go along with what someone else says to profit and then now bicker about it like its owed to them or something? Then wonder why people stop sharing their work with them? Talking to Rambus he is very knowledgable with charts although I was speaking in short term at the time he was looking at long, both with same rewass I did not trust long got out before the fall back in 08 and he got bashed for warning others. He knows what he was talking about. If he cpoied he wouldnt be able to do that. All I can say to people like that then DYODD. There is a great bunch of people here I hate to see them bickering too especially on such a nice day.We all know whats to come, so we shoudnt treat it like a surprise. Buy the way if I ever get back to Florida Im make sure I get a list from you on what resturants to look up.

Dear Bill
Re: yesterdays comment: “Using our debt per miles analogy, $123.6 trillion equals a stack 7,806.6 miles high of one thousand dollar bills, and that stack is growing higher every day!!!”
It always stupifies me why the old uncirculated $1000 note is used in this comparison. What lemon chose that bill for a comparitive example? Surely the idea of such a numerical comparison is to shed light on how big a trillion is, in order for us to somehow get our puny minds to grasp these huge numbers. Well then, let us rightly compare like for like for heaven’s sake i.e. how many $1 bills in this humungous $123.6 trillion?
A $1 bill just like your erstwhile $1000 note (ever seen one??!!) is just 0.0043 of an inch thick. With 63,360 inches to the mile, 123.6 trillion $1 bills will stretch 8.4 MILLION MILES beyond our earthly atmosphere and out into the solar system.
YES that’s a shed-load of unpayable dollar debt!! Hey Uncle Ben, better upgrade your printing press.

Love ya man…. but you have an uncanny way of stirring the pot and then being surprised by what develops. If you and GATA have one thing in common it’s probably that. Both of you need to constantly point out how right you were. I think I’m about to lose my patience with both you and them in that regard.
But, rather than lose my patience…. I’ll note that you said( 18:32): “This world is a complete mess, and it has been mostly created a mess by adults acting like 2 year-olds.”
That’s exactly what all this “I’m right and their wrong” stuff amounts to… and nobody cares whether you are right or GATA is right except you and GATA. We all make up our own minds in the end.
You are quite capable of pointing out GATA’s potential pitfalls (stating your opinion) without offending everyone with your venom. I’m beginning to think that offending everyone is somhow a compulsion with you. And claiming that when we get offended it means we’re worshipping GATA or acting like a sorority.
If GATA was constantly posting snide remarks about your work I would say the same thing to them. So, you really think I’m a GATA worshipper? Not a chance! And I haven’t heard anyone else worshipping at their Idol either.
The minute GATA comes on here and starts attacking your character and/or saying that your work is worthless I’ll be all over them too.
Off to the garden…………..

I agree with your observation. I think that Grin has posted some charts that show that the pm stock indexes rose for a while after the SPX tumbled some years ago. Then they joined the tumble. Could happen again.
I hope that you enjoy your evening.
Cheers, TQ
