goldielocks,
I should have been much clearer, my “exposed” meant if she somehow got out while in season! LOL, sorry for the confusion.
I do get their rabies 3-yr (which I’ve been told is the same shot as the 1-yr but don’t personally know this) and the 3-shot distemper puppy series but pass on the others. I also prepare their food and have for many years. It works well for us but I’ll have to admit it is a lot of work and other dogs do well on a good quality commercial food. It all started when my peke-a-poo had really bad skin allergies and it helped immensely so I stayed with it from then on.
One More….then….I shut up

Fractal Gold Report for July 1, 2010
By David Nichols
dnichols@fractalpublishing.com
There are some obvious triangle consolidations going on right now in gold, as prices remain stuck just under the all-time highs.
Wednesday’s triangle pattern on the 5-minute intraday chart…..
….is a “fractal echo” of the bigger triangle pattern forming on the daily pattern.
These triangle patterns are extremely common in markets because this is the way that oscillatory energy moves towards equilibrium. The easiest analogy to help understand this mechanism is to think of the way a ball reacts after it’s dropped on the ground, with each successive bounce showing a steady decline in energy until the ball is resting at equilibrium on the floor. If you were to trace the outline of the highest points of these bounces, it would form a triangle pattern precisely like the patterns seen in markets.
As I mentioned yesterday, there is no compelling need for gold to form a high-level triangle pattern right here. Gold is already in a great position to charge higher. So it must be an issue with the timing cycle, as gold hovers in place until the right alignment is reached.
The early-month energy surge is coming up soon, so this is a good candidate to spark the next breakout, which should push gold quickly up to the next target level at $1,335. This energy surge had been coming between the 2nd and 4th calendar day of each month, but lately it looks to have shifted to the 6th or 7th day of the month.
Since July 5th is a market holiday, that makes Tuesday July 6th an excellent candidate to see the next big energy surge in gold

Class War and the Decline of the West
Before he discovered his own self interest, ignoring the outrageous financial frauds perpetrated by his own ratings agency, Warren Buffett famously said, “There’s class warfare, all right, but it’s my class, the rich class, that’s making war, and we’re winning.”
I find it remarkable that there is so little meaningful discussion of this in mainstream circles. Well perhaps not, considering that most of them are now owned by a few major corporations.
The key to stopping this theft of your freedom is purging the political system of the corruption of paid influence, campaign contributions by non-persons like corporations, special interest groups, and unions, the breaking up of the media conglomerates that seek to control the news, and the implementation of a system of sound money for international trade at least, using a standard that resists the manipulation of the financial system as outlined in Hugo Salinas-Price’s quietly brilliant and insightful essay, Gold Standard, Protector and Generator of Jobs.

The powers that be will fight reform every step of the way, using propaganda and your prejudices and emotions against you. The best way to conquer a people is to persuade them to enslave themselves using slogans and simplistic views of the world that play on their fears and hatreds. The neo-liberal economic fraud that was scripted by the monied interests is played out daily to vast audiences using actors and actresses masquerading as politicians, analysts, and commentators.
I receive at least ten emails per day from the self-enslaving, sadly to say mostly older men like myself, that repeat the slogans and urban myths like faithful party members, seasoned with hateful prejudice and mindless propaganda, so I know that the influence peddlers and indoctrinators are doing a good job of it, subverting the middle class.
It is a little remembered fact that the greatest boost in support for the rise of the National Socialist party came not from the underclasses which was always a minority, but from the more influential professional class, the petit-bourgeois: doctors, dentists, accountants, shop owners, and small business owners. They added their force to the earliest supporters , the industrialists and the monied interests, the bankers and the industrialists…

price inflation means nothing if you have no money. It can be 10 cents or 1.oo - you have no money and you can’nt buy either. They can raise the price to 10.00 - you still can’nt buy it.
1.6 million going off unemployment by Friday - where they gonna get the money to buy unless they pass another unemployment extension. The economy in the USA is not growing regardless of what Obama says and what there numbers say. No European roll over of debt tomorrow and see what happens. JMO

I havent heard that word exposed used before in a long time other than exposed to something, so Ill guess thats what you meant. Exposed used to mean a child, usually a girl infant left in to woods or cold to die. Yes Im with you on the adjuvants in vaccines. Now their coming up with vaccines with none or they claim. I saw something in the office for cats but not dogs will ask next time if I remember. I read in the office inside dogs can catch thing too. I will ask for you next time. She is a bigger dog and strong, athetic so gave her the rabies and 5 in one before and she had the parvo when my son had her as a pup. She seems okay. Butthen she stood up on the counter and ate a whole chocolate cake that was in her reach before and didnt get sick.
The lab test for kidney function is a good idea. If your ever on strong antibiolics you should have them before and during treatment. I guess dogs the same even if seem healthiy but for the sedation and pain meds she will be on. Its going to cost me another 400 for that. Have to run.

Well you might be right on that but I’d like to think we might not have lost our republic if people had not been so apathetic. But that’s just human nature, I suppose, and perhaps human nature is what makes Elliot Waves.
PS - I write to both of my senators all the time and they probably get tired of hearing from me. One is a “D” and one is an “R” and they are both equally terrible.

I hope your dog is recovering well. Remember we are always here and can arrange whatever needs to be done.
You should realize that any of those foods you mentioned aren’t good for any living animal let alone dogs.
I am not familiar with foxtail. There is insurance for pets but it is quite expensive. Down here where almost all the vets deal only with pets the cost is high. When we lived in livestock country, the vets were better and cheaper.
Down here when a pet dies, there is a special expensive grief counseling series of meetings that you are encouraged to go to. Maybe I will take the 12 gauge to one of those meetings. You cannot counsel and hug and that grief away.

goldielocks, glad you got a 2nd opinion
I know things are a lot more expensive in your area but those first prices and recommended procedures….wow. Some vets require blood work before surgery but optional at most here. But some are money grabbers just like in everything else. The spay is a good idea simply for quality of life for both of you and does reduce possibility of problems when they get older or should she be “exposed!” It’s amazing how fast a young and healthy dog snaps back. I also choose to pass on a lot of the vaccines since my dogs are inside and never boarded. A lot of evidence is growing that vaccines are way over used and cause many other problems such as malignancies and immune deficiency problems for the dogs.
(snip) from Richard Russell in his letter today
Gold — Most people don’t understand the meaning of gold. People who buy gold today are thinking of climbing on the band-wagon and ending up with fabulous profits. Forget it, that isn’t why you buy and own gold. Besides, the government won’t let you show a profit in gold. The IRS will tax your ass off if you try to sell your gold mining stocks or your gold-related ETFs or gold funds.
The reason rich men accumulate gold is as follows. Gold is eternal wealth. Own three thousand ounces of gold, and you’ll always be wealthy. Holding gold entails no risk. Gold owes its value to its indisputable intrinsic value. You want to ensure eternal wealth? Pretend you have to make that decision, and it’s the year 1990. You load up on three blue chips, GE, GM and C. If you loaded up on these three, by now you’d be broke.
You want to feel wealthy in any kind of market or in any kind of political system? One way is to own physical gold. A great inflation materializes and your gold will probably rise with inflation. A great deflationary depression arrives. The price of everything crashes. And worst of all, that bubble that we call the dollar crashes as well. The dollar won’t buy a damn thing. Nobody will part with food or land or merchandise for dollars. All things denominated in dollars (stocks, bonds, real estate) collapse with the dollar.
Holding gold itself is a standard of wealth. You never sell your bullion gold. But when you buy gold mining shares, you are speculating on making a profit. If I own enough gold, I don’t care what the dollar the price of gold is. I’m a wealthy man as long as I hold my gold. If I own five Picassos I’m a wealthy man. If I own 20 acres on the Southern California coast I’m a wealthy man. But Picassos can go out of style. And land on the California coast can be confiscated. Not so with gold. Gold can be hidden, it can be accumulated, and it exists outside the system. By the way, I’m wondering whether great diamonds will soon be in that same category. I note that the price of great, high-quality diamonds is surging.
What man makes, man can destroy. The value or purchasing power of the dollar (fiat currency) can collapse. But gold cannot be devalued, because it’s not beholden to any man or any sovereign government. Gold’s value is based on 6,000 years of history, and its value lies outside the system. The US Treasury now values its gold as $42.20 an ounce. The world doesn’t give a damn what the US Treasury values its gold at. The world is saying that an ounce of gold is worth $1250 dollars, and the hell with the gold-haters.

No disrespect but I believe these things are set in advance. I mean I believe that EW works and I believe there are cycles in all of Nature that set the course of all things. I think our path is destined and all we can do is prepare for what we think it may be.

Actually this is not a good time to go to sleep if you live in a state with a senator who might be convinced to vote against this bill. You now have a window of several days to write to that senator before the vote happens.
