Can one of you E.W. experts take a look at this and give me your opinion

I only know the bare bones of EW so I am looking for someone to poke holes in his count as this would make me pretty unhappy with my holdings in PAL and SWC.

Admin 23:32. Thanks. The locator worked just fine now, although I got the error message twice just a few minutes ago.

Anyway, it seems that Auandag is not registered in the locator, so I still do not know where he lives. It helps me to understand his 22:04 posting if I knew where he lived. Thanks. Equiz.

Here’s the kind of PM-related investment advice we get from a

columnist in a Canadian newspaper. I say humbug to what the columnist suggests. But I do invest in both PM-related items and in energy-related items, because I do not think it is a matter of investing in either gold or oil. Why not spread one’s investments over both PM and energy sectors? Equiz.

FGC-Bias on the photos

Actually it was one of the tenters who thought the amount of “poor” houses being shown were giving Belize a bad rap. To tell you the truth, until Irish took me up to Spanish Lookout, I thought the majority of Belize was not that desirable.
Irish, being the great host that he is, showed me an entirely different side of central america when we arrived in the Mennonite community in Spanish Lookout. They definitely have found their niche in the country.
I am amazed that Irish has stuck it out down here. Not the easy place. Always the outsider, rough climate, and not the most conducive travel routes. He has been a gentleman and a great host since I have been here. ( He offered me $10 Belize to say this , I told him $10 U.S. and it was done - guess what he paid !!)
No really - if you get a chance, Irish is a great host, really goes out of his way to make one feel welcome. Has shown me many things, introduced me to people down here, cooked some great food, and I have never been left thirsty for a coke or water. Really glad that I met Irish on the tent and have come down here. I would not hesitate to visit Irish - a class act he is.
Really, no money changed hands forcing me to say this….
Now it is $20.00 U.S. IRISH!!
Hardy Har Har !!
Cheers
John

Equiz - Try it again

Admin, is the “poster locator” just temporarily out of commission?

In trying to find where Auandag (22:04) lives, on the file for locations of posters I got the message that no items matched my criteria. I will try the locator file again tomorrow.

IPSO & others…..about Goro

I am very suspicious.

So is StockGumshoe.

Gold Resource Corp.’s projects are all based in Oaxaca, Mexico, in historical mining districts. Their first project is El Aguila, which includes an open pit mine (mostly mined already, and the source of that first 70,000 ounces) as well as an underground mine (called Arista) that they’ve just started to build. It looks like the underground mine will be the source of most of that 200,000 ounces per year going forward, and they’re forecasting to have a mine life of 8 or 9 years at that production level.

This site has the processing plant that they would also use for other potential mines in the area, though those mines are very much in the early exploratory phase as of yet (they’ve done a few drill samples at one more potentially high grade site, El Rey, but it sounds like there’s still a lot to do … the other three sites they’re currently targeting have yet to see much exploration, and are primarily silver with some “gold credits”).

So … an interesting gold miner, at least, and it looks like they do have some relatively small high-grade mines on tap, along with some very active self-promotion. I do like the focus on cash flow and dividends, which is quite rare for small miners, though it’s always a little off-putting to see miners who aren’t listed in Canada and therefore don’t file those familiar-looking NI 53-101 resource reports with proven and probable reserves — their materials are all about cash flow and annual production expectations, not about reserves. They certainly aren’t unknown, with a fairly prominent mining partner and institutional investor (Hochschild Mining) and a solid market cap of almost $700 million after a dramatic stock increase in the past year from $4 to $14.

The above from 2 wks ago.

I wouldnt touch any shares in British Columbia with a ten foot pole. There literally isnt enough land in BC to settle all the Native outstanding land claims, plus the fact it seems like there is a treehugger behind every tree.

Keep up the posts and pictures, I look forward to reading them.

NOW, as to the person who complained about the pictures being biased - tell  IRISH  it is not a bias  IF  he is not in ANY of the photos!  :-)

New post about my Belize adventure

Click here to look at the new post I have added to my blog.
One of the tenters emailed Irish about the biased view of my pictures. Well, if that is all you have seen, that is your impression of the country - dirty, poorly kept up homes, and trashy looking people.
Irish introduced me to a town called Spanish Lookout - quite the lovely place in the country of Belize.
I will try and get back up there within the next couple of days to show you a different side of Belize, that even I was surprised to see!
Cheers

Regarding the link I posted at 15:43 about Taseko’s mining plans, it struck me that

some libertarian goldtenters would be on the same wavelength as Ms. Baptiste, cited in the article, that she will be on the road in her wheelchair with her shotgun to protect the land and the way of life that she has lived with up to now. I say that on the assumption that use of firearms to protect one’s property interests is consistent with the libertarian platform . We are owners of some Taseko shares, and the current situation involving aboriginal people, the governments of British Columbia and of Canada, and the company (Taseko), gives me an uncomfortable feeling (as a shareholder) until this land-use situation is resolved. Ike

I can’t really go into detail Ike.  It is very hush hush … but in a nutshell it concerns a Mr. Ammabo a wealthy Nigerian who is having trouble getting his fortune out of the country.  All I have to do is send him a small 5 figure sum to show my good faith, give him my bank account numbers and then he’ll wire $10 million dollars into my account of which I get to keep 10%.  All I can say is that Mr. Ammabo must be a very trusting soul to risk his fortune with a stranger!

In a couple of months I’ll be in FAT City!

IPSO………..funny that

I was hoping you’d share some of the beautiful insight about the Nigerian ‘investment.’

Samb Re: JS and silver

A couple years ago he said that there would be periods of time when silver would probably outperform gold, and he isn”t against investing in silver, but silver tends to be even more volatile than gold, and silver does not have the alternate currency status that gold has.

breeze: ANV

I sold half my position a couple days ago, and the stock has kept running. I really don’t know why. It has been very strong for months. Actually, a few months ago I shifted money into it after selling one of my dogs (AUY, I think), so after making about $3.50 a share in a short period of time I decided to sell the more recent shares and just keep my core position. That currently appears to be a bad plan, but we’ll see what happens in the next few weeks.
